Movement of passenger cars will be allowed in Kyiv from December 1 and public urban passenger transport via the Podolsk bridge crossing over the Dnieper River.
According to Klitschko, travel will be possible through a new tunnel that connects the bridge crossing with the exit onto Petra Vershigory Street in the direction of Roman Shukhevych Avenue and the residential area Troyeshchyna. However, the Podolsky bridge crossing will remain closed for heavy-duty vehicles for now.
« Today, only special vehicles and passenger bus route 111 are allowed to use the bridge crossing,” — added Klitschko.
The mayor noted that the work on the improvement and development of the adjacent territory, near the new tunnel, will be completed by the end of this year. Klitschko noted that the corresponding work will not impede the movement of traffic.
