Ukrainian foreign policy the department commented on Donald Trump's decision to appoint Keith Kellogg to the post of special representative for Ukraine.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Georgy Tykhyi during a briefing reported on Thursday that Kyiv had positively received this proposal from the newly elected US President Donald Trump.
He noted that Ukraine already has experience of interaction with Kellogg. The Ukrainian Embassy in the US maintained close contacts with the retired general as part of expert diplomacy, and cooperation with him continues. In addition, Ukrainian delegations visiting the United States have met with Kellogg on numerous occasions.
Georgiy Tykhy also added that after the official appointment, Ukraine expects increased interaction and expanded contacts with the new special representative.
