Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal reported that the Warm Winter program has been launched to support low-income families and internally displaced persons, under which UAH 6,500 will be allocated for each child.
One of the goals of this initiative is to help families provide for their children essential items during the winter period. These funds will help cover the costs of purchasing warm clothing, footwear and other essential goods, which is especially important in the current economic crisis.
As noted by the Ministry of Social Policy, payments will be assigned automatically By integrating data from state registries, families eligible for assistance will receive it without having to submit additional applications. This process, which speeds up the distribution of funds, will reduce bureaucratic delays and improve the efficiency of public resources.
It is expected that more than half a million children's families will receive assistance. Particular attention will also be paid to internally displaced persons and children with disabilities. The program is aimed at minimizing the risks of social exclusion and supporting the least protected segments of the population in the conditions of a harsh winter.
In addition, Ukrposhta said when they will pay out “Zelensky’s thousand” to millions of Ukrainians.
