In 1973, the Czech family fairy tale “Three Nuts for Cinderella” was released and gained worldwide popularity.

In many countries, the film is still traditionally shown before Christmas and New Year. The main roles in the cult film were played by 23-year-old Pavel Travniček (the prince) and 20-year-old Libuše Šafránková (Cinderella).
Today Pavel Travniček is 74 years old. Although his greatest cinematic achievement remains Three Nuts for Cinderella, the actor continues to participate in various projects, appear at events and is actively involved in creative work. During his life, he married four times and became the father of three children from different women.
In addition to filming, Travniček was also involved in theatrical activities: in the early 1990s, he directed the Musical Theater in Karlin. Later, the actor founded his own agency and actively worked on the creation of television shows. In addition, he is known in the Czech Republic as a dubbing actor and musician.
51 years have passed since the release of Three Nuts for Cinderella, and Pavel Travniček has certainly changed and no longer resembles that handsome prince from the screen. However, his role in this fairy tale has forever remained a symbol of romance and magic for many generations of viewers.
