Unusual incident occurred recently on one of the major highways of Krivoy Rog, in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

The driver of the car reportedly violated traffic rules and was stopped by the police. However, instead of cooperating, according to local publics, he seemed drunk and refused to talk to law enforcement. It was later revealed that the man was wanted by the TCC.
The situation took an unexpected turn when the driver locked himself in the car with his mother and sat there for almost a day. Meanwhile, information about the incident quickly spread on social networks, causing heated discussions among residents. Opinions were divided: some suggested using a tow truck to forcibly remove the car, others ironically asked how the man solves everyday issues, and even offered to bring diapers.
Some eyewitnesses claimed that several police crews arrived at the scene, and the situation resembled the detention of a major criminal.
Alina Kravets, a representative of the Krivoy Rog patrol police, said that the officers did not use any special means, but were at the scene the entire time the “siege” lasted.
«The driver was stopped by patrol police officers for violating traffic rules. The police approached him, introduced themselves, and asked for his documents. He did not want to provide his documents and locked himself in the car. He was stopped at about 10:00 pm and left at about 7:30 pm the next day. Representatives of the TCC, an investigative task force, and a lawyer arrived at the scene. After talking with representatives of the TCC, the driver left the scene of the incident,” she said.
