11-year-old Plato A Tolsty man from Krivoy Rog became a hero who saved his family during a Russian army strike on a residential building.

On November 11, the occupiers attacked city with a ballistic missile, hitting a high-rise building. The strike caused a massive fire and destroyed several floors. Four people were killed and 14 others were injured, including Plato himself.
When the alarm sounded, Plato quickly reacted: he convinced his mother and sister to hide in the hallway, which turned out to be the only surviving part of the house. Despite his injuries, Plato soon recovered and returned to school.
He now lives with relatives, as most of his things were destroyed by the explosion. The boy, despite all the trials, continues to hope for victory. His family thanks him for saving lives.
«It's a miracle, It's just a miracle that he looked, that he called, that we made it in time,” the boy's mother said.
«You gave me a very big gift for my whole life, that you survived. Thank you,' the boy's father said.
