In the Odessa region near highway, next to the UPG gas station, a dog has been living for two years now, waiting every day for its owner, Hero of Ukraine Oleksiy Savransky.

< p>TV presenter Ruslan Senichkin said that Alexey Savransky, born in 1999, was an ordinary guy who worked at a gas station and often took his four-legged friend to work. Their friendship was as strong as steel until the war took Alexey away.
On April 18, 2023, he died in the Donetsk region during a combat mission, becoming a real Hero. But the dog did not understand that his friend was no longer there. He continues to wait. Every day. The dog returns to the very place where they were together.
He reacts to the names “Leshka” or “Lekha” and seems to be about to see a familiar figure. His eyes are a mixture of sadness and hope that cannot be described in words. The animal takes the same route: from the gas station to the house. Like before. Like when the owner was nearby.
Senichkin noted that Alexey's relatives did not abandon the dog. They take care of her, understanding that this loyalty is not just affection, but a real proof of love. At the same time, he noted that the dog does not need to be saved or moved.
“He is in his place – where his heart is. This dog has become a symbol of endless loyalty. His story reminds us of the importance of the bond that unites man and animal. And also – that even in the most difficult times there is love that survives loss and pain. Every day he waits. And in this waiting – the whole world,” he said.
