Ukraine is preparing for the construction of a new bridge across the Tisza River, as stipulated in the Agreement with Romania.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the Ukrainian Telegram news service.
It is noted that such a statement came from People's Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko. The implementation of this infrastructure project will be a significant step in strengthening the region's transport connectivity and developing international cooperation with the neighboring state.
Moreover, it is known that the Tisza River has long been known as a place where Ukrainians try to cross the border, especially under martial law. Closed borders due to the war with the Russian Federation have provoked an increase in illegal attempts to cross, which has created a number of additional challenges to state security.
The bridge across the Tisza will not only become a transport artery, but and a symbol of strengthening legal routes of movement between countries. Experts emphasize the importance of ensuring strict control and monitoring of the use of new infrastructure in order to exclude illegal migration attempts.
Against this background, it became known that Ukraine is preparing “surprises” for the Russian Federation.
