Ukrainians liable for military service who evade mobilization may have their bank cards blocked.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Unian.
According to a lawyer from the Globa Advocacy Association and Globa” Sergei Lankin accounts can be blocked only if a resolution of the TCC and SP on violation of military registration has been drawn up in the name of the conscript, a fine has been imposed and the State Executive Service has opened enforcement proceedings.
In such a case, the executor “freezes ” cards of the evader to collect the amount of the debt. If there are insufficient funds in the account, the available amount is charged and the account remains blocked until the remaining debts are paid.
“The main “tool” for combating evaders at the moment is administrative liability. If the violator received a fine and did not pay it within 15 days, then one should be prepared for the fact that one day his bank “the accounts will be blocked,” he emphasized.
At the same time, Sergei Lankin noted that responsibility for evading mobilization is individual in nature. That is, the family members of the violator cannot have their bank accounts.
Recall that it was previously reported that the mobilized are trying to deceive the VVK: the TCC explained what scheme the men are using.
