Future US Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg said that Trump is the only person who can stop the war in Ukraine.
Keith Kellogg expressed his opinion about the possibility of holding talks between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Washington. According to him, such a meeting could take place, given the peculiarities of Donald Trump's diplomatic approach to international politics. At the same time, he expressed confidence that the war in Ukraine could be ended in the next few months.
«You know, Trump plays chess on three levels, and I wouldn't be surprised if he did something like this. Can he do it? Of course, he could do it. He would make such a bold move. But when it comes to Ukraine and Russia, I really believe that everything will be decided in the next few months, because the only person who can do it is President Donald Trump, and he will do it», — said Kellogg.
According to him, the idea of holding such a meeting is “really a very good one.”
“So I would say that I would not take anything beyond the bounds of possibility that he will do it, and it would not surprise me,” Kellogg emphasized.
