The Ministry of Health of Ukraine continues to carry out large-scale reforms aimed at increasing the availability and quality of medical services.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the Facebook page of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
One of the most important steps was the creation of teams to assess the functioning of individuals, which replaced the traditional MSEK system. The new system is aimed at improving patient care and meets modern medical standards.
Today, 286 medical institutions across the country are equipped with expert groups, making services as accessible as possible for citizens. A total of 1,348 teams have been created, including more than 4,300 doctors — three times more than in the previous MSEK system. The expansion of the number of specialists allows for more efficient and high-quality diagnostics and assessment of patients' condition.
These teams include specialists in various fields: surgeons, traumatologists, cardiologists, and psychiatrists. This approach provides a comprehensive solution to patients' problems and helps reduce the workload of doctors. In addition, the Center for Assessing the Functional State of a Person was created, which acts as an arbitrator in controversial situations, providing patients with the opportunity to appeal decisions and receive expert support.
The Ministry of Health emphasizes that the new approach is focused on the modern needs of society. Each institution participating in the reform undergoes strict certification, which guarantees the high quality of the services provided.
