New fines to appear in Ukraine due to TCC: Fedienko warned what it is about

As it turned out, since May Since 2024, updated rules for military registration have been in effect in Ukraine, which has caused a wave of discussions in society.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to an interview with NV by member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security Oleksandr Fedienko.

Territorial recruitment centers have been given the authority to impose fines on men who violated registration requirements. Fedienko, in turn, highlighted the most common cases and gave detailed comments on each of them.

A man who first contacted the TRC to clarify data through the Reserve+ application was fined 17,000 hryvnia for not being registered in the database.

This caused a wide public outcry, since such measures had not been applied on a large scale before. According to representatives of the TCC, the introduction of fines should increase the responsibility of citizens and simplify the registration process.

Loss of military ID

A citizen who applied for data recovery after losing his military ID also received a fine of 17,000 hryvnia. Despite being registered in “Reserve+”, the violation of the law entailed administrative sanctions. Experts note that such measures encourage citizens to be more attentive to documents.

Theft of documents

A citizen who provided a certificate from the police about the theft of documents, including a military ID, received a fine of 5,100 hryvnia. According to experts, this is due to internal instructions of the TCC. However, such cases raise questions about the need to review approaches to the administration of such situations.

At the same time, experts answered which country could soon repeat the fate of Syria.
