Press service Ukrenergo reported that updated power outage schedules will come into effect in Ukraine on Monday, December 16.
URA-Inform reported this with reference to Ukrenergo.
The restrictions will be introduced throughout the day. Therefore, the time of application and the scope of restrictions for household consumers will be as follows:
07:00 – 08:00 – one turn of disconnections;
08:00 – 12:00 – two shutdown queues;
12:00 – 15:00 – one and a half shutdown queues;
15:00 – 17:00 – two queues of shutdowns;
17:00 – 19:00 – one and a half queues of shutdowns;
19:00 – 20:00 – one queue of shutdowns.
For industry and business, restrictions will be in effect from 07:00 to 21:00.
“The reason for introducing restrictions is damage to energy facilities as a result of Russian missile and drone attacks in November-December. Power engineers are working to return the facilities damaged by the enemy to operation as quickly as possible equipment”, — added to Ukrenergo.
At the same time, air raid sirens may become more frequent in two regions of Ukraine: the reason has been named.
