Cabinet of Ministers Ukraine has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada draft law No. 12354, which provides for tougher penalties for violating martial law requirements.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the Telegram channel of the Cabinet of Ministers representative in the Rada, Taras Melnychuk.
According to the document, a new article 210-2 will be added to the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (KuoAP). The main provisions include:
- administrative liability for violation of entry, stay or evacuation in populated areas without appropriate passes or certificates;
- violation of curfew by citizens.
Fines for such violations will range from 510 to 850 hryvnia. In addition In addition, police officers will be given the right to administratively detain violators. The innovations also envisage the introduction of additional sanctions for organizations that ignore the rules of the special regime.
This initiative is aimed at ensuring order in the conditions of martial law and strengthening public safety.
According to experts, such measures will help prevent possible violations and increase the effectiveness of monitoring compliance with wartime requirements.
