TV presenter Dmitry Gordon again confirmed his forecast for the end of the war in Ukraine already “this year”.
This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to Dmitry Gordon.
According to him, there will be some meeting on December 30th that will put an end to the conflict.
“The key date here will be the 30th. Because something big is going to happen on December 30th. I don't even, you know, I don't want to say it out loud. In short, someone is going to meet someone on the 30th. And then it's going to be a very interesting time,” Gordon said.
It is worth recalling that the TV presenter predicted that “the hot phase of the war will end this year” back in late September. However, at that time he linked this to Zelensky’s visit to the United States, which Gordon considered successful.
“Based on the results of Zelensky’s visit to the United States (and they will be excellent), some things will be overlooked and some things will happen that will change the entire history of the war from October 1 to November 5 and put Russia on its shoulder blades. Maybe not completely. But it will put it down hard,” the journalist said.
After which, he said, the Russian army will suffer “not a diplomatic, but a military defeat.” Probably, Gordon meant that following the visit, the US would give Ukraine permission for “long-distance” travel, which many expected, but this did not happen then, permission was given only after the elections and has not seriously affected the situation on the front line.
Recall that earlier it was reported about Trump and peace in 2025: experts assessed the possibility of ending the war.
