Ukrainians living abroad and who have received temporary protection or refugee status have the opportunity to submit documents for the appointment of a pension remotely.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
To assign a pension, persons entitled to it can submit the relevant documents through the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine https://portal.pfu.gov.ua. After authorization in the personal account using the QES (qualified electronic signature), the person fills out an application.
Pensioners who have found shelter abroad can receive pension payments either to a Ukrainian bank card or via international transfers through Ukrposhta.
The following documents will be required for registration:
— passport;
— identification code;
— documents on insurance experience (work record book, diploma of full-time education, military ID, etc.)
— salary certificates for 60 consecutive months up to June 30, 2000 (optional);
— bank account details (if the bank payment method is selected);
— photographs for a pension certificate (2.5×3);
— marriage certificates if a woman changes her surname;
— certified copies of documents on receiving temporary protection or refugee status and registering their place of temporary residence/stay abroad (with translation).
The Pension Fund also explained how much 1 year of work experience currently costs: who should buy it.
