As you know, at night On January 1, Kyiv was subjected to another attack by Russian Shahed drones, and Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky condemned Russia's actions, calling them barbaric and incompatible with the spirit of the New Year.

“This holiday is a time of peace and hope, but Russia chose violence, taking the lives of innocent people,” the diplomat emphasized.
According to the latest information, two people were killed and seven were injured in the attack, including two pregnant women. The victims received the necessary medical care, but the moral damage inflicted on civilians remains irreparable.
Lipavsky said that the Czech Republic will continue to support Ukraine and called on the international community to hold the aggressor accountable. He also stressed the importance of consolidating international efforts to stop war and ensuring peace in the region.
Moreover, he added that peace in Ukraine will begin when the Russian Federation is held accountable. According to him, any form of aggression must be harshly condemned and met decisive actions.
At the same time, Slovakia responded to Zelensky's accusations of Fico's cooperation with Putin.
