Already January 15th 2025 at 15:00, employers and workers of Georgia will organize a public warning strike.
This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to Protest 24.
It is reported that citizens are demanding new elections to parliament, as well as the release of all detained protesters.
Organizers are calling on businesses and workers to temporarily suspend operations for three hours and take to the streets. With this strike, they intend to show what is happening under lockdown conditions, namely:< /p>
— economic stagnation;
— closed business;
— poverty and unemployment.
“Both the danger and the solution are common to all — new elections and release of detainees. No matter where you work, you are a business owner, manager or employee – join us! Georgia has taken the oath! ” – the statement by the organizers of the nationwide strike reads.
