Monday, 6 January, President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree establishing the Day of the State Special Transport Service in Ukraine.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the decree of Volodymyr Zelensky.
It will be celebrated already next month.
“Considering the significant contribution of the State Special Transport Service to ensuring sustainable the functioning of transport in peacetime and in a special period, as well as the performance of tasks on technical cover, restoration at the facilities of the national transport system of Ukraine, other tasks related to participation in the defense of the state, I decree: To establish in Ukraine the Day of the State Special Transport Service”, &# 8212; the decree says.
The document notes that this holiday will now be celebrated annually on February 5.
What is known about the State Special transport service
A specialized military formation that is part of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and is designed to ensure the stable functioning of transport in peacetime and in special periods.
