The next meeting of the Council will take place on January 16 UN Security, initiated by Slovenia and the United States.

The previous Council meeting, held on December 16, was convened in response to massive rocket attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. The new meeting is awaited with great attention, as further international support for Ukraine may depend on its outcome.
Experts believe that the participants will discuss the expansion of sanctions against Russia, humanitarian aid to affected regions and opportunities for a peaceful resolution of the conflict. The Ukrainian side will seek to intensify international pressure on the aggressor.
