The weather at the weekend Ukraine will feel more like early spring than winter.

At night, the temperature will drop below zero in some places, but during the day, thermometers will confidently show positive temperatures values. Average temperatures will exceed the climate norm by 4-7 degrees, said meteorologist Igor Kibalchich. Particularly warm weather is forecast for the southwestern regions.
The main factor determining the weather conditions will be a stationary anticyclone and its influence from Western Europe.
Saturday, January 18:
- During the day, the temperature will be from +2 to +7 degrees, in the east – from 0 to +5.
- At night, the values will vary from light frost to slightly above zero.
- Light rain is possible in the south, and wet snow is likely in the east.
Sunday, January 19:
- It will become even warmer in the southern regions: +5-+10 degrees are predicted during the day.
- It will be cooler in the northern and eastern regions, with daytime readings from -1 to +4.
- Light snow is possible in the east.
According to the forecast of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, on January 18, precipitation in the form of rain and sleet is expected in the northeast and east of the country. In other regions, mostly dry weather.
- The temperature at night will be -2…+3, in the Carpathians -8…-3.
- During the day, the values will vary from 0 to +5, and in the Odessa region and Crimea – up to +8 degrees.
Forecasters also warn of increased avalanche danger (level 3) on January 19-20 in the highland areas of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Be careful, especially when planning trips to the mountains.
