A hostel in the capital of Kiev refused to serve two officers of the Ukrainian army, as well as the spokesman for the Navy, Dmitry Pletenchuk.
This was reported by “URA-Inform” with reference to Dmitry Pletenchuk.
“The military is dangerous, says the girl at the reception of the Hostel Vshokoladi in Kyiv. Therefore, when I asked to let me and two respected officers in uniform have lunch at the establishment, we were refused,” Dmitry Pletenchuk wrote on a social network.
According to the Ukrainian Navy representative, the girl also refused to provide the hostel manager's phone number.
“I wonder if this is a personal position or the owners'? Unfortunately, there is still a part of society that believes that it is possible to stay away from this war. A part that does not want to understand that they will live with us and that they will adapt to the veterans, and not vice versa. Moreover, we did not choose this war. I am not even talking about basic respect. I always try to control myself, because my PTSD is a light version of what the stormtroopers went through. But the guys, of course, may have a lot of questions like “was it worth protecting them,” added Dmitry Pletenchuk.
