January 21 2025 in Brussels confirmed that the European Union and the G7 countries have committed to fully covering Ukraine's financial needs for the current year.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Eurointegration.
The above-mentioned step became part of a large-scale international support program for the country, which has been in a state of armed conflict for the third year. Under this program, Ukraine will receive funds to stabilize its economy, implement key reforms, and maintain social infrastructure.
Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis noted that this decision demonstrates the EU's continued support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.< /p>
