Ukraine is faced with a unique problem: with two million unemployed, many sectors of the economy are experiencing a labor shortage.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the Politics of the Country telegram channel.

According to According to Oleg Pendzin, head of the Economic Discussion Club, the shortage of personnel is most acute in blue-collar jobs and logistics. There is a particular shortage of drivers, which creates additional problems in supply chains.

At the same time, there is an oversaturation of specialists in such areas as economics, law and journalism.

Comprehensive measures are needed to solve the problem. Firstly, reforming the professional education system to adapt it to modern realities.

Secondly, supporting the retraining of personnel , which will allow people with outdated specialties to master new professions. Thirdly, creating attractive working conditions, including competitive wages and social guarantees.

Reducing unemployment and overcoming the personnel crisis requires joint efforts of the state, business and educational institutions. Ukraine has the potential to solve these problems, and success in this area will be an important step towards sustainable economic development.

Information has also emerged about whether the war in Ukraine will end after oil prices fall.
