Military-political observer Alexander Kovalenko believes that Russian troops will continue to concentrate their efforts in the Kramatorsk direction.

The occupiers are paying special attention to Chasovy Yar, which the Ukrainian defenders have been holding for almost ten months.
During the analysis of the current situation on the front, the expert noted that in the near future the enemy may try to gain a foothold on the outskirts of Stupochki. Such a threat arose after the forced retreat of the Ukrainian Defense Forces from positions in the area of Kleshcheyevka and Andreyevka due to difficult conditions on the front line.
«But this does not mean that the occupiers will be able to completely close Chasov Yar, although they do have progress in the very center of the city. Now they are concentrating not only in the northern part of the settlement, but are also breaking through to Shevchenko, and also have access to Workshop No. 2. This is also an industrial zone, and there are its own nuances of conducting military operations there, – said Kovalenko.
According to the analyst, in the near future Chasov Yar may become a key point of military operations, attracting no less attention than Pokrovsk or the Toretsk agglomeration, where Russian troops continue their offensive.
