In the Novopavlovsk direction, Russian troops are actively preparing for a general assault on the last lines of engineering and fortification structures located on the border of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
This was reported by representatives of the 46th separate airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, URA-Inform reports.
According to the Ukrainian military, the enemy is focusing on the Serebryanoye-Troitskoye-Gorokhovo and Novoelizavetovka-Kotlyarovka directions. Their ultimate goal is not only to break through the defense line in the Sergeyevka-Novopodgorodnoye-Muravka-Dachnoye areas, but also to reach the operational space in order to complicate the possibility of creating a deep defense.
«The enemy is actively maneuvering to prevent the Ukrainian Armed Forces from completing the construction of new fortification lines, which are now being deployed thanks to public resonance and support,» the brigade reports.
The Ukrainian side also notes that Russian forces are simultaneously leveling the front line in Andreyevka, where full control by the Russian Federation has already been established. The main focus of military operations has now shifted to the north of the Donetsk-Zaporozhye road.
The southern direction, in turn, remains a zone of periodic assaults, which are sporadic in nature.
“Systematic attacks in the Novy Komar-Razdolnoye-Zelenovka areas have practically ceased, which indicates that the Russians are preparing for larger-scale actions in the north,” the military adds.
The situation on the front line remains tense. Ukrainian forces are preparing to repel a possible offensive and continue to strengthen their positions under constant pressure from the enemy.
