Early parliamentary elections in Germany, held on February 23, 2025, brought the victory to the Blok of the Christian Democratic and Christian Social Unions (CDU/CSS). According to the Federal Election Commission of Germany, the party under the leadership of Friedrich Merets gained 28.5% of the vote and received the greatest representation in the new composition of the Bundestag. & Nbsp;

This reports Ura-Inform, referring to the website of the Federal Election Commission of Germany .

The second place was taken by the party « an alternative for Germany », receiving 20.8% of the vote. This is significantly higher than its result in the elections of 2021, which indicates the growth of the popularity of the ultra-right among German voters. & Nbsp;

the Social Democratic Party of Germany, which is led by the current Chancellor Olaf Sholts, took third place from 16.4% votes. This is a historically low result for the party, which emphasizes the fall in confidence in the current government. & Nbsp;

Party « Green » received 11.6%, and « left » – 8.8% of the vote. The remaining political forces could not overcome the 5% barrier and, accordingly, were not part of the Bundestag. & Nbsp;
