This is reported by URU-Inform, referring to RBC-Ukraine.
Prime Minister Denis Shmygal clarified that after signing the agreement, a special delegation approved by the Cabinet of Ministers will be formed. It will develop a draft international agreement on the creation of an investment development fund.
« this fund will become an important tool for the restoration of Ukraine and attract new investments », ”said Shmygal. & Nbsp;
The agreement regulating the activities of the Fund will be drawn up as an international agreement requiring the approval of the Government and ratification by the Verkhovna Rada. The fund will be under the joint administration of Ukraine and the USA. The contributions to it will come from income received from licenses, rents and payments for the use of natural resources, but the minerals themselves will remain in the property of Ukraine. & Nbsp;
previously the Cabinet approved the main provisions of the framework agreement. Among them: & nbsp;
1. Creation of an investment fund of the restoration of Ukraine. & Nbsp;
2. Preservation of Ukraine’s ownership of its natural resources. & Nbsp;
3. Kiev introducing 50% of future revenues from resource assets to the Foundation. & Nbsp;
4. US financial contributions in the form of money, assets and tools to support Ukraine. & Nbsp;
5. Investing the funds raised exclusively in the restoration of infrastructure. & Nbsp;
6. Compliance with the agreement by the norms of the European integration process of Ukraine. & Nbsp;
