Thanks to the development of digitalization, a permit for a weapon can now be obtained in Ukraine through the Diia application. This is a significant step in simplifying the process of obtaining and using weapons. Now Ukrainians can obtain a document confirming the right to own a weapon in a completely electronic format.

In the Diia app, users can generate a digital document that will be available on their smartphone at any time. This eliminates the need to carry paper permits and allows you to monitor the validity of the document.

The digital document has all the same functions as its paper counterpart, but it is impossible to forge. The police can check its authenticity and information about the owner at any time, which reduces the risks of illegal arms trafficking. In the event of the permit expiration, users will receive a push notification with the option to renew the document through the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

An electronic permit greatly simplifies the process, eliminating the need for paperwork and queues. This solution also speeds up the work of law enforcement agencies and gives citizens more confidence in the legality of their weapons.

All you need to get a digital permit is to update the Diia app, go to the Add document item and link the permit for the weapon registered in the Unified Register of Weapons. This is a simple and convenient solution for gun owners.
