During a briefing at the White House, US President Donald Trump made a new statement regarding the ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Donald Trump.
“We will very soon have a complete ceasefire in the Russian-Ukrainian war,” the US President said.
According to him, a ceasefire is expected in “many areas.” Teams from the United States, Ukraine, and Russia are currently working on this issue.
“We're going to have a complete ceasefire pretty soon, and then we're going to have a contract and an agreement that's being negotiated, a land division contract and so forth, that's being negotiated right now as we speak,” Trump said.
He also noted that it is already possible to talk about reaching a “framework of agreement” on a peaceful settlement. The American leader once again assured that he wants to “stop the killings of Russians and Ukrainians.”
“I've had very good discussions, as you know, with President Zelensky and with President Putin. And Putin will tell you that he wouldn't be concerned without the United States involved, but he is concerned when the United States is involved… And I think we have a framework of agreement. I hope we have a framework of agreement,” Trump said.
Let us recall that earlier it was reported that Trump wants to change the “mineral deal” and how Ukraine is reacting to the new points?
