On March 28, 2025, a red-level magnetic storm with a K-index of 4 is expected. This level indicates noticeable geomagnetic activity, which can affect the well-being of weather-sensitive people and even those who usually do not feel changes in the weather.
URA-Inform reports this.
Who should be more careful?
First of all, for people with cardiovascular diseases, problems with blood pressure and the nervous system. On this day, headaches, irritability, rapid fatigue, sleep disorders and mood swings are possible.
How to stay healthy during a storm:
- Avoid stress and physical overexertion
- Drink more water and avoid strong coffee and alcohol
- Walking in the fresh air in the first half of the day will help the body adapt
- Try to go to bed a little earlier – a good night's sleep is especially important
- People with chronic diseases should follow their doctor's recommendations and monitor their blood pressure if necessary.
The good news is that the storm will not last long. On March 29, geomagnetic activity will remain at level 4, and from March 30 to April 4, it will decrease to a moderate level – K-index 2-3. This means that strong fluctuations are not expected, and the impact on the body will be minimal.
