Artificial intelligence continues to make inroads into various industries, raising concerns among many professionals that it could replace humans in certain jobs. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates recently commented on this issue, stating that AI could indeed take over most jobs. However, he also highlighted several areas where human labor will remain indispensable.

According to Gates, despite the possibility of automating many processes, at least three professions will continue to require human participation. The first of these professions is a programmer. Although artificial intelligence can help with coding, Gates noted that programmers remain necessary to analyze the logic of AI and to correct possible errors in its work.
“Programmers will be key in finding and fixing bugs and improving AI algorithms,” he stressed.
Gates also believes that the profession of energy specialists will remain in demand. The energy industry is too complex to be fully automated, and even with the development of technology in this area, people will still be needed to solve the most difficult problems.
Finally, Gates singled out biologists who, despite AI’s ability to analyze DNA and make diagnoses, will remain indispensable in scientific research. According to him, research in biology and science in general require a human approach, creativity, and deep knowledge that AI cannot replace.
So, while AI will take over more and more functions, these three professions, according to Gates, will continue to exist and develop, requiring human intervention.
