Citizens of Ukraine who have less than 15 years of insurance experience can receive social assistance at 65 years of age.

This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the Government Portal.

Its size corresponds to the subsistence minimum. To apply for such assistance, you need to contact either the social security authorities at your place of residence or registration, or the administrative services center.

To do this, you need to have the following documents:

– an application in the form approved by the Ministry of Social Policy;

– passport, work book, identification code;

– a certificate from the Pension Fund on insurance experience;

– a declaration of family income, which is completed on the basis of certificates of income of family members.

In case the person is incapacitated, a decision on the appointment of a guardian is required. The relevant documents must be submitted after presenting a passport.

“Social assistance is assigned in the amount of 30% of the subsistence minimum for persons who have lost their ability to work, and taking into account the additional payment, it cannot be less than 100% of the specified subsistence minimum,” the Government Portal notes.

Note that the amount of the corresponding payment is 2361 hryvnia. It was increased this year by more than 12%.

At the same time, the insurance period for retirement upon reaching retirement age is as follows:

– from 31 years and older – to retire at 60 years;

– from 21 to 31 years old – to retire at 63 years old;

– from 15 to 21 years old – to retire at 65 years old.

Let us recall that earlier it was reported that Ukrainians can expect transparent transfers: the NBU will instruct banks to disclose data on recipients.
