JSC Ukrposhta will receive a grant of €600 thousand from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for the installation of modular branches.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to the press service of Ukrposhta.
“Ukrposhta will receive €600,000 from the EBRD for the installation of modular branches,” the company said in a statement published on Telegram on Wednesday.
The company specified that modular units can be quickly installed in places where stationary units were destroyed or damaged as a result of enemy shelling.
These branches will also be located in settlements that have been “cut off from the world” and will be equipped with barrier-free access, as well as equipped with Starlink systems and generators. The modular branches will become important centers of stability for the residents of Ukraine in the conditions of military action.
In addition, in such branches, Ukrainians will be able to send parcels within the country and abroad, pick up ordered medicines, arrange money transfers and receive funds sent by relatives, subscribe to publications, pay utility and other bills, and also receive a pension.
It also became known how Ukrposhta postmen were previously protected from dogs with chicken feet.
