On Thursday, April 10, no significant magnetic storms are forecast. According to meteorologists, solar activity remained low over the past 24 hours. During this time, five C-class flares and one M1.5 were recorded.
This was reported by URA-Inform with reference to Meteoagent.
M-class flares are classified as medium-level solar ejections. An M1.5 event can cause weak radio interference on the dayside of the planet. There is also a possibility of a weak solar radiation storm.
According to experts, the Earth's geomagnetic field will fluctuate from calm to moderately active on April 10. Solar activity is expected to remain at an average level, with a low probability of X-class flares.
Solar activity forecast for April 10:
- Chance of a weak geomagnetic storm is 15%
- Risk of a powerful geomagnetic storm is 1%
- Chance of M-class flares: 40%
- Probability of X-class flares: 5%
- Sunspots registered – 33
According to the portal, the planet's magnetosphere currently remains mostly stable – K-INDEX is 4. However, it is worth remembering that solar activity can change at any moment.
Magnetic storms can have an adverse effect on health. Advance warning about such phenomena helps people, especially those sensitive to weather, reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications, such as heart attacks and strokes.
Unstable weather can also cause a deterioration in general health – headaches increase, hyper- and hypotensive patients feel discomfort, cloudiness reduces energy levels and concentration.
To maintain health during periods of geomagnetic disturbances, it is important to follow simple rules:
- establish a sleep schedule – sleep at least 7-9 hours,
- drink enough clean water,
- choose light, balanced foods,
- walk in the fresh air more often.
Also, for many, the sowing calendar for April 2025 will be relevant, which will tell you when to plant in order to reap a rich harvest.
