The main goal of the Russian occupiers in the Kharkov region is now the recapture of Kupyansk-Uzlovoy. The Ukrainian Defense Forces are reacting adequately.

Direct speech : “We have been observing such active assault combat operations of the enemy for the last six months. In addition to the mentioned village, Russian troops are still trying to advance near Ivanovka, Petropavlovka. In the Kharkov region, this is now the main goal for the enemy, since, for example, the capture of Sinkovka will make it possible to advance further and create the preconditions for blocking Kupyansk.
But the main goal is Kupyansk-Uzlovoy (a large railway junction – ed.). But to get to it, you need to capture part of the city of Kupyansk. We understand these plans, our Armed Forces understand these plans. Therefore, we react appropriately.”
Details: According to Sinegubov, the assault troops of the Russian invaders are formed from various units.
“These are the so-called “Storm-Z”, and former “Wagnerites”, and career military personnel. They throw their manpower into “meat”, they absolutely do not take losses into account. They have no strategy – they go and carry out assaults,” – said the head of the OVA.
At the same time, according to his assessment, the Russian troops have enough weapons and equipment for assault operations in this direction. At the same time, the head of the region noted that despite all the actions and weapons available to the enemy, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are effectively doing their job.
Direct speech : “They have mortars, and heavy artillery, and, of course, tanks and other armored vehicles. For some time, indeed, there was a starvation of shells – we heard this in interceptions. And yet they are equipped to go on small assaults detachments with the support of equipment. Recently, their tactics have changed somewhat: they are very actively using guided bombs. In addition, they are now using kamikaze drones, which is very annoying to our military, and we, of course, try to quickly respond to requests from units so that they counteract and drones.
Russians are simply dying in hundreds, thousands in this direction.”
