President Vladimir Zelensky dismissed Vladimir Trush from the post of chairman of the Ternopil regional state administration.

Literally : “To dismiss Vladimir Lyubomirovich Trush from the post of chairman of the Ternopil Regional State Administration in accordance with the application he submitted.”
Details : Trush has headed the Ternopil Regional State Administration since March 19, 2020.
Background:
- The Cabinet of Ministers agreed on the dismissal of the head of the Ternopil Regional Administration Volodymyr Trush at a meeting on December 27.
- On June 26, NABU and SAPO detained the head of the Ternopil Regional Council, Mikhail Golovko, for accepting a bribe. It was also reported that two deputy heads of the Ternopil VGA, Igor Demyanchuk and Igor Gaiduk, were detained.
- According to the investigation, they demanded almost 1.8 million UAH from the owner of the enterprise for signing certificates of completion of work on the construction and repair of infrastructure facilities by a municipal enterprise of the Ternopil Regional Council.
