The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the data of the General Staff that on the night of December 30, 5 out of 10 attack drones launched by Russian troops in Ukraine were shot down.

Verbatim Air Force: “On the night of December 30, 2023, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with ten Shahed-type UAVs from Cape Chauda (Crimea). Five drones were shot down by air defense within the Nikolaev, Kherson and Khmelnytsky regions. The main attack was the front-line zone of the Kherson region” .
Details : The Air Command “South”, in cooperation with the air defense of other components of the Defense Forces of southern Ukraine, destroyed 3 enemy attack UAVs of the “Shahed-136/131” type: 2 in the Kherson region, 1 in the Nikolaev region.
In addition, in the Khmelnitsky region, air defense forces neutralized 2 Shahed-type UAVs. No civilians were injured and there was no damage to infrastructure facilities.
In Kherson, as a result of a drone attack on the night of December 30, an administrative building was destroyed; city residents were not injured.
