The death toll from Friday's shelling of Kyiv has risen to 17.

Background :
- During the night and morning of December 29, Russia carried out its most massive air strike against Ukraine. Kyiv, Kharkov, Dnepr, Odessa, Lvov, Zaporozhye and other cities were under attack.
- In general, air defense over Ukraine managed to destroy 114 of 158 enemy air targets. According to the Air Force, the Russian Federation has used almost all types of weapons at its disposal.
- In particular, in Kyiv it was known that 16 people died under the rubble of a warehouse in the Shevchenko district. 32 people were injured.
