France is ready to help Ukraine organize production on its land.

The newly appointed French Foreign Minister Stephane Séjourne said that France will maintain its commitment to supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, supplying them with weapons, as well as strengthening Ukraine’s ability to produce weapons on its soil.
Stefan Sezhurnoe said this at a joint briefing with his Ukrainian colleague Dmytro Kuleba in Kyiv, Ukrinform reports.
“France will remain side by side with Ukraine as long as necessary. This attitude is unchanged and will be deployed in the areas of support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the supply of weapons systems, ammunition, air defense systems, and artillery. I know that you value the French technology that is supplied to you to protect your land. We are determined to jointly strengthen Ukraine’s ability to produce weapons on its own soil and are ready to come to your aid in this area,” he said.
The Government plans to increase military production six times
Today he stressed that France is ready to continue to support Ukraine’s resistance to the aggressor and improve the legal framework so that cooperation in the field of defense capabilities develops even wider.
In the field of civil cooperation with Ukraine, the French Foreign Minister focused on healthcare, mine clearance and training of specialists, education and school facilities.
In addition, the minister called on French companies to join the challenges facing Ukraine in the fields of energy, communications and water supply .
- President Vladimir Zelensky discussed with the new head of the French Foreign Ministry the joint production of drones and artillery, as well as strengthening air defense.
- Compared to the spring of 2023, Ukrainian defense factories increased the production of armored vehicles 5 times.
- Minister for Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshin said that Ukraine produces dozens of so-called Ukrainian martyrs per month, which are analogues of Iranian drones.
- The German defense concern Rheinmetall and Ukrainian Defense Industry (Ukroboronprom) created a joint venture. The new enterprise will carry out maintenance and repair of equipment supplied by Ukrainian partners.
