The international passenger bus has spread to the Mersin-Antalya highway. As a result, 9 people died, 30 were injured.

The bus crashed near a fence at the exit from the tunnels and spilled over. 112 brigades of the Swedish medical aid, gendarmerie, AFAD and fire department arrived at the scene of the accident. The wounded were taken to the hospital.
The Governor of Mersin, Ali Hamza Pehlivan, also arrived at the scene, rejecting official information about the accident and making the following statement:
