Switzerland will transfer nearly 1.6 billion euros in aid to Ukraine

Switzerland will give Ukraine 1.5 billion francs (close to 1.6 billion euros) in aid period from 2025 to 2028.

The President of Switzerland, Violi Amherd, stated this, RBC-Ukraine reports that she was sent to a large press conference with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Switzerland is placing a special focus on Widbud's Ukraine. From the Federal point of view, Widbud's country is of strategic importance for the stability of the continent,” she said.

“To support Ukraine, Switzerland has planned 1.5 billion francs for the period of offensive strategy with international cooperation from 2025 to 2028,” said the Swiss President.
