A traffic accident occurred at an unregulated railway crossing in the village of Yamnitsa, Ivano-Frankivsk region, involving a passenger car and a passenger train.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
Rescuers freed the victim from the mutilated car and handed him over to doctors.
Also at the scene of the accident, emergency workers disconnected the terminals of the vehicle's battery in order to prevent a fire.
