Chairman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs changes in “ Requirements for the maintenance and operation of protective structures of civil protection,” which abolished the exclusion of animals from the shelter.

This is stated in the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, writes “Babel.”

Thus, animal owners must not leave your pets unattended and create the necessary conditions for them.

You also need to comply with sanitary, hygienic and veterinary standards and rules.

The owner is obliged to ensure that animals do not damage property or pose a threat to other people.

Pets that may pose a danger to life or health of people must be on leashes. At the same time, dogs included in the List of Dangerous Dog Breeds must be muzzled.

  • On December 14, during an air raid in the Svyatoshinsky district of Kiev, schoolchildren were not allowed into the shelter because the kids were with a pet – a Maltip dog.
  • Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lesnoy called the exclusion of children from the school shelter because of a dog unacceptable.
