“Everything that can be done, we will do.”
Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov is confident that an exchange of prisoners will take place between Russia and Ukraine in the near future.
He said this on air at the national telethon.
“The lives of our people – military or civilian – should not be in danger. And in the terrible conditions in which they are kept there. We will do everything that can be done. I am sure that in the near future “the exchange will still take place,” Budanov assured.
Note that Budanov also stated that neither side can fully answer what exactly happened in the situation with the fall of the Il-76. Among other things, Budanov drew attention to the fact that the Russian side did not show the bodies of supposedly dead Ukrainian prisoners to prove its version of events.
