The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, together with the US Embassy, has begun the process of creating a selection system for senior positions in the National Police.
This was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klimenko.
He held an inaugural meeting with the head of the law enforcement department of the American Embassy, Joshua Tembladore, and the DEA attaché at the embassy, Travis Brooks.

The task is to modernize the criteria and requirements for occupying a leadership position, clearly define the timing and responsible bodies that will conduct the verification of the candidate. The minister added that “we do not have high expectations” and that “we will not radically change the situation in a few months,” however, the transformation mechanism has been launched .
After the National Polling, a system for selecting leaders of the State Emergency Service will be introduced.
