President Vladimir Zelensky awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to Valery Zaluzhny, who until yesterday was the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“For outstanding personal services in protecting the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless service to the Ukrainian people, I decree: To award the title of Hero of Ukraine with the award of the Order of the Golden Star to Valery Fedorovich ZALUZHNY – general,” the decree says .
