Two corresponding decrees were published on the President's website
Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky signed two decrees on awarding military personnel. According to documents published on the website of the Head of State, 344 soldiers received orders and medals, of which 189 were posthumous.
Ukrainian defense soldiers were noted “for personal courage shown in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless performance of military duty.”
The military were awarded the orders of Bohdan Khmelnitsky and Daniil Galitsky, the Order “For Courage”, as well as the medals “For Military Service to Ukraine”, “Defender of the Fatherland” and “For Saved Life”.< /p>
- On February 9, the President of Ukraine personally presented state awards. In particular, the title Hero of Ukraine was awarded to the former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny and the current head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Kirill Budanov.
- On Monday, the first meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Headquarters in a renewed composition was held.
