The most active military operations took place in the Bakhmut and Maryinsky directions.
The 727th day of Russia's large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of warfare, uses terror tactics, launches missile and air strikes, and fires from multiple launch rocket systems not only at military, but also at numerous civilian targets of our state. According to the General Staff, over the past 24 hours 81 military clashes took place. In total, the enemy carried out 7 missile and 87 air strikes, carried out 137 attacks from multiple launch rocket systemson the positions of our troops and populated areas. Russian terrorist attacks have unfortunately resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Multi-storey and private buildings, as well as other civil infrastructure facilities, were destroyed and damaged.
Air strikes occurred: Baranovka, Chernihiv region; Bobilovka, Sumy region; Stary Saltov, Chernoe, Olkhovatka, Tabaevka, Peschanoye, Sinkovka of the Kharkov region, Orekhov of the Zaporozhye region.
Under artillery firethere were more than 120 settlements in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson and Nikolaev regions.
In the area of responsibility of the OVSU “North” in the Volyn and Polesie directionsthe operational situation remains without significant changes.
In the Seversky and Slobozhansky directionsthe enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, carries out sabotage activities in order to prevent our troops from being thrown into threatening directions, and increases the density of mine-explosive barriers along the state border in the Belgorod region.
In the area of responsibility of the OVSU “Khortitsa” in the Kupyansk direction the enemy made 4 unsuccessful attempts to attack in the Sinkovka area of the Kharkov region. Conducted airstrikes on populated areas of the Kharkov region, such as Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Kupyansk.
In the Liman direction the enemy, with the support of aviation, attacked our units 6 times in the Ternov areas of the Donetsk region and Belogorivka, Lugansk region.
In the Bakhmut directionThe defense forces repelled 14 attacks by the invaders in the Bogdanovka, Ivanovsky, Kleschiyivka and Andreevka areas of the Donetsk region. New York, Donetsk region, suffered an enemy air strike.
In the area of responsibility of the Tavria OSV in the Avdeevsky direction our defenders repelled 9 enemy attacks near Lastochkino, Severny, Pervomaisky and Nevelsky in the Donetsk region.
On the Maryinsky directionDefense forces continue to contain the enemy near Georgievka, Pobeda, Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region, where 21 attacks by the occupiers were repulsed.
In the Novopavlovsk direction the enemy attempted to launch an offensive once in the area of the village of Staromayorskoye, Donetsk region.
In the Zaporozhye direction By the Defense Forces 11 attacks of invaders were repelled near Malinivka and Robotiny, Zaporozhye region.
In the area of responsibility of the OVSU “Odessa” in the Kherson directionUkrainian soldiers continue to hold positions and repel assaults by occupation forces. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not abandon attempts to dislodge our units from their positions. Thus, over the past 24 hours, the enemy made 5 unsuccessful assaults.
At the same time, our soldiers, through active actions, inflict losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
Over the past 24 hours, Defense Forces aviation carried out strikes on 10 areas where personnel are concentrated, 1 control point and 10 enemy anti-aircraft missile systems. Also, the forces and means of the air defense of Ukraine destroyed 23 attack UAVs of the “Shahed-136/131” type.
Units of the missile forces struck 1 control point, 4 ammunition depots and 5 enemy artillery weapons.
At night, the Russian Federation targeted the south-eastern and central regions with drones. The southern defense forces reported that one drone was destroyed in the Kherson and Nikolaev regions, and two more in the Kirovograd region.
