The legacy of the fire on the Osokorki Lakes burned nearly three hectares of territory, in particular part of the landscape reserve “Osokorki Meadows”.

“Due to the reasons for the fire, yesterday I contacted law enforcement about investigating the incident. All versions are being considered, including possible arson. Now an investigative team from the Darnitsky Unitary State Administration of the NP in Kiev is working on the spot “, he said.
The State Emergency Service and drone crews were on duty on the territory of the eco-park to monitor possible recurrent fires.
The fire broke out yesterday near Lake Tyagle on an area of approximately three hectares. It was localized at 23:15 and eliminated at 23:57. Rescuers recorded a fire in dry grass and reeds in an open area. Extinguishing the fire was made difficult by flooding of access roads.
The administration of the Osokorki ecopark reported on Facebook that someone committed arson in the area bordering the scandalous development of the Stolitsa Group.
